Navel oranges for professional buyers

Fresh navel oranges for fresh consumption. Confirm the cultivar and preferred origin when requesting a quotation.

Meicun coordinates navel orange procurement from Zhong County, Chongqing and Gannan, Jiangxi for professional buyers. Discuss origin, size, maturity, packing and destination requirements before confirming a lot-specific quotation.

Typical buyers
Fresh-fruit importers, wholesalers, retail buyers and food-service distributors
Availability
Seasonal fresh-crop or stored lots are subject to stock and quality confirmation before quotation.

Indicative Procurement Specification

Typical export specifications and storage guidance are shown below. Final product specifications are confirmed against the current crop, selected lot, packing method, destination requirements and written quotation.

Final specifications are confirmed in the written quotation.

Product type / commercial options
Fresh navel oranges for fresh consumption. Confirm the cultivar and preferred origin when requesting a quotation.
Grade and size
Indicative procurement size bands: 70–75 mm, 75–80 mm, 80–85 mm and 85–90 mm, measured at the maximum equatorial diameter. These are buyer-defined size bands, not quality grades. Fruit should be sound, clean and firm, without decay or broken skin. Available sizes, quality grade, colour, maturity and defect tolerances are confirmed for the selected lot in the written specification.
Packing
Reference export pack formats: 10 kg or 15 kg net fruit weight per ventilated carton, with paper dividers or protective sleeves where suitable. Net weight excludes the carton and packing materials. Fruit count and carton dimensions depend on the selected size and packing arrangement. Confirm pack availability, net weight, carton strength, ventilation, label language and buyer artwork in the quotation.
Origin & growing conditions
Two origins: Zhong County (Zhongxian), Chongqing and Gannan, Jiangxi. State your preferred origin when enquiring. The selected growing area, cultivar, harvest period and available traceability records are confirmed for each lot.
Sorting requirements
Separate lots by origin and cultivar, then grade by agreed size and appearance. Remove decayed, split, punctured, severely bruised or pest-damaged fruit. Check the navel, stem end and peel; keep sizes consistent within each pack and handle gently to limit abrasion.
Quality-control details
Inspect diameter, carton count, colour, firmness, skin integrity, navel condition, decay and net weight. Sample internal flesh, juice condition and flavour; agree soluble-solids and acidity checks where required. Peel colour alone is not proof of internal maturity. Record inspection results and verify labels against the lot.
Crop season
Harvest and dispatch windows depend on origin and cultivar. Confirm the crop year and harvest period for the selected lot.
Availability
Seasonal fresh-crop or stored lots are subject to stock and quality confirmation before quotation.
MOQ
Request the minimum order for your selected grade, pack format and destination; no fixed MOQ is published.
Pallet & loading
Container type, pallet pattern and payload are calculated from the confirmed carton dimensions, airflow needs and destination weight limits.
Storage
Agree a refrigerated storage and transport plan for the cultivar, fruit condition and route. Manage ventilation and condensation; confirm temperature and humidity settings before dispatch.
Shelf life
Remaining shelf life is assessed from harvest date, fruit condition, storage history and transit time. Request lot-specific guidance; no universal shelf-life guarantee is offered.
Inspection
Pre-shipment inspection scope should include agreed size, grade, colour, maturity, firmness, decay, pest damage, mechanical damage, net weight, packing and labelling. Buyer or third-party inspection may be arranged by agreement.
Traceability & QA
Each shipment lot or batch should be linked to the growing or collection area, harvest or receiving date, packing facility, packing date and release inspection. Residue, microbiological or laboratory testing should be provided only when required by the destination market or agreed contract.
Export documents
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or transport document and certificate of origin. A phytosanitary certificate should be provided when required by the importing country. Fumigation, treatment, laboratory or inspection certificates should be supplied only when applicable and agreed.
Destination requirements
The buyer must confirm import permits, phytosanitary requirements, additional declarations, pesticide maximum residue limits (MRLs), label language, carton markings and wood-packaging requirements.
Quote requirements
Please provide the required product type, grade, size, preparation condition, quantity, packing, destination port, Incoterm, delivery window, container type and any required certificates or laboratory tests.

Harvest to delivery

Common quality risks and prevention checkpoints

These are practical inspection risks to control during procurement and logistics; they do not mean the selected lot has these defects. Acceptance limits and preventive actions are confirmed in the written specification.

Harvest

01

Cuts, punctures and rough handling can damage peel and increase decay risk. Check maturity and handle harvested fruit gently.

Sorting

02

Mixed sizes, missed navel damage, rind blemishes or hidden decay can cause rejection. Inspect all sides and use representative cut-fruit samples.

Storage

03

Moisture loss, condensation, mould and unsuitable chilling conditions can reduce quality. Review the lot condition and storage records before release.

Transport

04

Carton compression, vibration, blocked airflow and temperature changes can damage fruit. Confirm stacking strength, load restraint and the transport plan.
